The supporters of Fortuna AFC booed when Chipiscú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Enmanuel charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Enmanuel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vicente Enmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeo Sengrat in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Llanos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulino Soin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Sengrat in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Llanos saved Chipiscú from getting behind. Nestor Llanos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Silverio Gaxan. A collision led to Chipiscú getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Paulino Soin hit a great ball. Anacleto Prejun might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Llanos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anacleto Prejun ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Fortuna AFC booed when Chipiscú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Soin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niceto Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Jordy in the 35th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Chipiscú's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Sengrat came free, but Nestor Llanos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomiro Heli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Amadeo Sengrat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortuna AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Sengrat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Llanos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Fortuna AFC's zone, Baldomiro Heli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Merexildo came out of the goal and Baldomiro Heli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fortuna AFC's Vicente Enmanuel got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute Baldomiro Heli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fortuna AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Vicente Enmanuel hit a great ball. Fausto Jordy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Niceto Merexildo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Fausto Jordy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Llanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Sengrat in the 80th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Amadeo Sengrat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Llanos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Teobaldo Aznaro charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobaldo Aznaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. One of Chipiscú:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fortuna AFC:s goal. Anacleto Prejun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chipiscú players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fortuna AFC.
