Tobias Sancho's late challenge caught a F.C. Itzamna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobias Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in CD ASTROS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! In the 18th minute, Paolo Ellande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godofredo Mancio got free with Tiburcio Bilbo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiburcio Bilbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Veremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Carlos Veremundo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the F.C. Itzamna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Veremundo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Godofredo Mancio managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Itzamna's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Mancio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Bilbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Tiburcio Bilbo managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when F.C. Itzamna's Godofredo Mancio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cosme Raymon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Silvestre Columbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. F.C. Itzamna's Silvestre Columbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Mitxel in the 33rd minute of play. Tiburcio Bilbo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godofredo Mancio in the 35th minute. Ulises Etxeberri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Itzamna's zone, Cosme Raymon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Columbo came out of the goal and Cosme Raymon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Melquiades Mitxel came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the CD ASTROS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Mitxel couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Veremundo to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Bilbo having to interfere. Paolo Veto kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Godofredo Mancio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Olayo was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 63rd minute, Simon Gonsalvo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and F.C. Itzamna's Silvestre Columbo didn't even have to move. Silvestre Columbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Mitxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Melquiades Mitxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 minutes, Paolo Ellande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Itzamna and the CD ASTROS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CD ASTROS's Paolo Veto got a free kick in the 82nd minute. F.C. Itzamna's Silvestre Columbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Itzamna from getting a goal against them. After having played for 88 minutes, Godofredo Mancio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Itzamna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Mancio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Melquiades Mitxel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cosme Raymon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godofredo Mancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Bilbo having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F.C. Itzamna had won after a very even match.
