In the 28th minute, Atilano Lizbeth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Benjamin Perez came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Capivara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Perez couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute Benjamin Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Bartoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Che struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Jacinto Sauveur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilcomayo AFC. In the 39th match minute, Capivara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Elija to maneuver through the defense. After 76 minutes of play, Capivara's Benjamin Perez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Bartoli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pilcomayo AFC's Donato Bartoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Perez in the 80th minute of play. Donato Bartoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Grabiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Capivara fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Capivara's Benjamin Perez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
