Bernardo Peli was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Saul Gaxan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Abelardo Galsino made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Saul Gaxan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Abelardo Galsino, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, Deseado FC's Abelardo Galsino got control of the ball when Saul Gaxan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaston Manuelo charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Manuelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gaston Manuelo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Deseado FC's Abelardo Galsino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Deseado FC from getting a goal against them. Saul Gaxan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Abelardo Galsino made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victoriano Arlo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Xabel. After a rather tough play, Deseado FC's Nunez Pinto got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Leon Bartuelo fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deseado FC's protests and gave Leon Bartuelo a yellow card for diving instead. Leon Bartuelo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Maximiliano Edorta didn't quite understand what happened when in the 66 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Xabel in the 68th minute of play forced Deseado FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Galsino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Ubelteso couldn't finish the play. Nicasio Mede blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casper Dupre having to make a save. Abelardo Galsino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Xabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the Deseado FC defense, Victoriano Arlo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Galsino. The Deseado FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Galsino should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rivadavia fully deserved thier win.
