After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Nicasio Mede managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deseado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicasio Mede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Gar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Placido Ubelteso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Gar made a huge save. Placido Ubelteso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lorenzo Gar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marco Rey fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sanagasta FC's protests and gave Marco Rey a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Sanagasta FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deseado FC:s goal. Placido Ubelteso took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenzo Gar. Lorenzo Gar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Edgardo Colas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Galsino having to interfere. Nicasio Mede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lorenzo Gar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Placido Ubelteso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lorenzo Gar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorenzo Gar made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Placido Ubelteso sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sanagasta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Colas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Placido Ubelteso struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Lorenzo Gar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deseado FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Alfredo Precioso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanagasta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Precioso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Galsino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lorenzo Gar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Mede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Gar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Mede in the 70th minute of the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Placido Ubelteso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deseado FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Ubelteso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alfredo Precioso came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Sanagasta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Precioso couldn't finish the play. Gaston Manuelo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Alfredo Precioso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deseado FC's Abelardo Galsino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Deseado FC from getting a goal against them. Sanagasta FC's Edgardo Colas got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
