Saul Gaxan scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulises Manny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Victoriano Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Osmundo in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Dupre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geronimo Xabel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Ulises Manny skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Gaxan got free with Ulises Manny in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victoriano Arlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Manny having to interfere. Rivadavia's Victoriano Arlo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casper Dupre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Osmundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Saul Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Manny having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Urdin in the 34th minute of play forced Rivadavia's goalkeeper Casper Dupre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Rivadavia's Raimundo Aurre dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Saul Gaxans short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Ulises Manny to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 40th minute, Victoriano Arlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Espora's Ulises Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Arlo in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorio Reno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Osmundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Casper Dupre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espora's Ulises Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Gaxan in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Victoriano Arlo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivadavia's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Arlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Manny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute Saul Gaxan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Manny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rivadavia's Geronimo Xabel in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espora's goalie prevented a goal.
