Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) After 4 played minutes, AC Southampton's Dalmacio Orlan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnaldo Polo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Southampton reached it. In the 6th minute, Tapebicuá AFC's Ismael Jerrald ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Humberto Abad. Humberto Abad yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Natalio Valery charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natalio Valery the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Natalio Valery hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, Albino Eufemio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Humberto Abad. Albino Eufemio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 21 minutes into the game, AC Southampton's Natalio Valery nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnaldo Polo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. AC Southampton's Humberto Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Roano in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Dalmacio Orlan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Polo skillfully saved the ball. Albino Eufemio took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Abad. Humberto Abad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After 33 minutes Tapebicuá AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Horacio Jerrold who took care of the corner kick. AC Southampton's Horacio Jerrold was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnaldo Polo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Mero in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Polo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39thth minute of the game Alfonso Mero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tapebicuá AFC's Arnaldo Polo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Alfonso Mero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Southampton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Mero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Natalio Valery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tapebicuá AFC's zone, Alfonso Mero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Polo came out of the goal and Alfonso Mero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

In the 58th minute Arnaldo Tajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Valery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Tajo in the 61st minute of play forced AC Southampton's goalkeeper Humberto Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, AC Southampton's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Mano came free, but Humberto Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul Felo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With his leg Arnaldo Polo managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when AC Southampton's Alfonso Mero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 76 played minutes Tapebicuá AFC got a freekick which was hit by Albino Eufemio. 79 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Tajo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Abad. AC Southampton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Tajo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. 82 minutes into the match, Natalio Valery notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Tapebicuá AFC's Arnaldo Polo. Arnaldo Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Albino Eufemio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Tajo in the 91st minute of play forced AC Southampton's goalkeeper Humberto Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Benigno Mano came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Tapebicuá AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Mano couldn't finish the play. Tapebicuá AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
