Benigno Mano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Kepa having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Arnaldo Tajo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tapebicuá AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Tajo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Baldomiro Hechter made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Baldomiro Hechter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belbeder FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Hechter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Baldomiro Hechter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The nice shot from Cecilio Vellito in the 80thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Arnaldo Polo had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Jeremias Kepa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Tajo in the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to Tapebicuá AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Albino Eufemio hit a great ball. Cecilio Vellito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Polo made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tapebicuá AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Belbeder FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
