Clemente Fernendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Heriberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Urbano Estevon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Marin having to interfere. The supporters of Toyman United booed when Cerrito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Ibon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urbano Estevon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Urbano Estevon made the kick off in the second half. If Urbano Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Toyman United's Clemente Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Bastian in the 58th minute of play. Tomás Gotzon hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Cerrito's Virgilio Marin got control of the ball when Lucio Bonifaco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute, Feliberto Cordarryl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Toyman United getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Isidro Bastian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Clemente Fernendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Isidro Bastian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inocencio Heriberto in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Fernendo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 87 played minutes Toyman United got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Gotzon. Inocencio Heriberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Isidro Bastian came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Cerrito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Bastian couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toyman United's goalkeeper Clemente Fernendo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inocencio Heriberto in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Fernendo saved Toyman United from getting behind.
