In the 27th match minute, chivas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Tauro to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Fabian Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 33 minutes into the game, Esteban Procopio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Constantino Valiente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the match, chivas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Santana came free, but Constantino Valiente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The chivas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VENEZUELA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
