Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5526, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gogo Nuxila started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Vargas got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Lopez. In the 5th match minute, Atletico Guadalajara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Montrell to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes, Felix Corderall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Guadalajara FC and the Vargas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atletico Guadalajara FC's Felix Corderall got a free kick in the 13th minute. Gogo Nuxila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aureliano Montrell was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Aureliano Montrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes Atletico Guadalajara FC got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Sansone. In the 23rd minute of the match Denis Orti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteban Vedillo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Aurelio Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th match minute, Vargas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Fernado to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Vargas's Ovidio Emenon got control of the ball when Felix Corderall tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Norberto Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodoljub Mratinković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ovidio Emenon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteban Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Segio in the 37th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Gogo Nuxila took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ovidio Emenon to make any attempt to save it. Norberto Segio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteban Vedillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Gogo Nuxila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Guadalajara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

The wind increased when Fabio Lopez made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Vargas's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Nuxila came free, but Ovidio Emenon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustin Orlondo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Fabio Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Emenon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gogo Nuxila's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Ovidio Emenon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodoljub Mratinković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Hurko hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87thth minute of the game Gogo Nuxila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vargas's Ovidio Emenon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gogo Nuxila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Fernado during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes, Atletico Guadalajara FC's Rodoljub Mratinković shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ovidio Emenon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atletico Guadalajara FC reached it. If Aurelio Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Atletico Guadalajara FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
