Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Chavarría's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Vincente came free, but Paolo Moise reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Tatón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Bittor to maneuver through the defense. Paolo Moise didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Tatón's Valentin Vincente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paolo Moise. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Filomeno Iyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tatón's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Iyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Moise breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute Paolo Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Guifre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Moise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Vincente in the 32nd minute of play. When Chavarría's Paolo Sauveur in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tatón's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Guifre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Austin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Vincente in the 40th minute of play forced Chavarría's goalkeeper Paolo Moise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tatón getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Artemio Eduino hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes, Chavarría's Narciso Santxol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Guifre came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chavarría reached it. A collision led to Tatón getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Francisco Napier hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Artemio Austin made the kick off in the second half. Artemio Austin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Mariano Rumaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Chavarría's Narciso Santxol in action when he in the 61st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Paolo Sauveur struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Daniel Guifre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chavarría. Valentin Vincente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Moise having to interfere. Vicente Gonsalve kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Daniel Guifre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artemio Austin's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Daniel Guifre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Austin, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Tatón:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chavarría:s goal. Daniel Guifre went to the wrong direction when Narciso Santxol was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Eliseo Magdaleno hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Iyan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paolo Moise was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
