In the 16th minute, Thunderstrock III's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Severo Hori fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. César Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Severo Hori sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Argoitz in the 21st minute of play forced Thunderstrock III's goalkeeper César Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joaquin Kiliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Licerio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but César Fernandes firmly grabbed it by the left post. César Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Severo Hori sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Thunderstrock III getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Joaquin Bitxintxo hit a great ball. Mexico City's Armando Argoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Cordarryl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Kiliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Thunderstrock III's César Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Hori in the 58th minute of play. Mexico City's Valentin Cordarryl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico City from getting a goal against them. If Armando Argoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severo Hori took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised César Fernandes. César Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Aureliusz Scigan hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 1-2 became the score in the 81st minute when Joaquin Kiliz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Severo Hori made a precise shot to the right of César Fernandes. Thunderstrock III's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The supporters of Mexico City booed when Thunderstrock III was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Bitxintxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Joaquin Kiliz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Thunderstrock III fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. When the match was over Thunderstrock III could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mexico City throughout the match.
