FERNANDO's Teobaldo Indartsu got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albano Gasteiz made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Marciano Txatxu sent off a good shot on target. After 21 played minutes FERNANDO got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Llin. If Joel Chesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Jobo having to interfere. In the 45th minute Joel Chesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Jobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Marciano Txatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FERNANDO's Artemio Heriberto got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Artemio Heriberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. FERNANDO's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Heriberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Gasteiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Natalio Llin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Artemio Heriberto notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Real San Luis's Albano Gasteiz. Albano Gasteiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, FERNANDO's Marciano Txatxu got a free kick in the 66th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Llin during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Generoso Etxahun came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Real San Luis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Etxahun couldn't finish the play. Joel Chesus's late challenge caught a FERNANDO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Chesus helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Real San Luis getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Joel Chesus hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Natalio Llin managed to get in a good position for a shot. FERNANDO's supporters rose to their feet, but Natalio Llin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Gasteiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marciano Txatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Albano Gasteiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
