In the 10th minute, Hernan Ursino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Andres Lauaxeta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Húsares's Jorge Ihintza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard Quin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Húsares getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Andres Bento hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernan Ursino got free with Benjamin Txindoki in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 minutes, Andres Bento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Húsares and the Selvas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Húsares's Andres Bento got a free kick in the 39th minute. Benjamin Txindoki was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Amancio Endura. After 46 played minutes Selvas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Felix Gustau. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albino Bernat to make the kick off. Jorge Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Selvas AFC's goalkeeper Edgard Quin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victorio Bittor kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 94th minute, but Edgard Quin got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Selvas AFC hanging dry this time. If Hernan Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Jakes hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The Selvas AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Húsares's performance. The match ended with a win for Húsares.
