Mauro Silvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Indalecio in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ibarlucea's zone, Domingo Olo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Silvino came out of the goal and Domingo Olo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Remigio Teyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Juntas were awarded a corner. Angel Tino went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Inocencio Maore almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ibarlucea's Mauro Silvino did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Indalecio in the 33rd minute of play forced Ibarlucea's goalkeeper Mauro Silvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Martxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Baladi in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Ibarlucea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Teyo to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Olo got free with Mauro Silvino in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Argi in the 47th minute of play forced Juntas's goalkeeper Julio Martxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidro Indalecio was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ibarlucea's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Indalecio came free, but Mauro Silvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Juntas's goalkeeper Julio Martxel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Baladi. After 59 played minutes Juntas got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Maore. Domingo Olo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Silvino having to make a save. Juntas's Julio Martxel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Juntas from getting a goal against them. Lucas Emesto hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Julio Martxel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Juntas had won after a very even match.
