Capdevila AFC's Israel Ilazki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Turi in the 6th minute of play. Baldomero Teyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Lucado, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Luisito Orlondon charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisito Orlondon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Urre in the 11th minute of play forced Cumorah FC's goalkeeper Baldomero Teyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cumorah FC's zone, Ruben Lucado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Teyo came out of the goal and Ruben Lucado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Capdevila AFC's Israel Ilazki got control of the ball when Hugo Bordat tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Capdevila AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 30 minutes, Pascual Urre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capdevila AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Urre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32nd play minutes Ruben Lucado shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Baldomero Teyo and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 37th minute, Hugo Bordat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Ruben Lucado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capdevila AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Lucado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascual Urre to make the kick off. Israel Ilazki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Turi in the 60th minute of play. After 65 minutes, Hugo Bordat made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Capdevila AFC's Israel Ilazki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Pascual Urre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capdevila AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Urre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Teyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benicio Urdaspal charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benicio Urdaspal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Benicio Urdaspal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Bordat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Israel Ilazki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. If Hugo Bordat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Capdevila AFC's Israel Ilazki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Bordat in the 86th minute of play. Bruno Rosario's late challenge caught a Cumorah FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Rosario helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Capdevila AFC! Cumorah FC's Baldomero Teyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Cumorah FC from getting a goal against them. Ruben Lucado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Capdevila AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cumorah FC.
