To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the game, one of Impira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alfredo Eleazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Erasto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Santos in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 53 minutes Impira's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ricardo Maureo who took care of the corner kick. 57 minutes into the game, Armando Ibon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Impira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave I Mentes Maestras I the free kick. After 58 played minutes Impira got a freekick which was hit by Armando Ibon. Jonas Erasto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Santos in the 59th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Fernando Santos sped through Impira's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonas Erasto. I Mentes Maestras I made a substitution. Dario Stanislao replaced Loco Palermo. Impira's Damaso Orlanda got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonas Erasto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Santos in the 80th minute of the match. Haroldo Blasco kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. I Mentes Maestras I's Wilfredo Jakobe was substituted for Dedê Arce. A collision led to Impira getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Haroldo Blasco hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Dario Stanislao dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonas Erasto, 0-7. Dario Stanislao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Erasto stood somewhat misplaced when Fernando Santos came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 96 minute.
