In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chepes's goalkeeper Eugenio Nabar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eloy Rodass short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Eugenio Nabar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eugenio Nabar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Rodas went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Esteban Etxatxu made a precise shot to the right of Ulises Gartzi. Hipatía's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Baldomiro Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Rodas in the 26th minute of the match. Eugenio Nabar was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Baldomiro Arlo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baldomiro Arlo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Nemesio Leizarraga charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nemesio Leizarraga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, Chepes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Leizarraga to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Edelmiro Iratzeder from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Eugenio Nabar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 33rd match minute, Chepes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Dubardo to maneuver through the defense. Eloy Rodas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Nabar having to interfere. Eugenio Nabar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Arlo in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Jeremias Gonza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Baldomiro Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Nabar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Arlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

If Baldomiro Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Hipatía's Eloy Rodas in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chepes's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th minute, Baldomiro Arlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Nabar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ulises Gartzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteban Etxatxu in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Hipatía's Robustiano Emenon got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Eugenio Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Arlo in the 65th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Chepes defense, Baldomiro Arlo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Nabar. The Chepes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Nabar should have stopped the shot. Ulises Gartzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Tuste in the 72nd minute of the match. Hipatía were furious when Andrew Reijniers was red carded, 74 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 73rd minute, one of Hipatía:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hipatía. Baldomiro Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Eugenio Nabar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Jaunti made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alonzo Tuste immediately put the ball in play. Aaron Mel hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Hipatía's Ulises Gartzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Hipatía from getting a goal against them. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hipatía fully deserved thier win.
