Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nunez Oier started the match with the kick off. Cornelio Malvin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Eugenio Llorian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, one of Ostende:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ostende. When Cortaderas FC's Nunez Oier in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ostende's goalie prevented a goal. Nunez Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Llorian having to interfere. Severo Enetz's late challenge caught a Cortaderas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severo Enetz helped the player get up and apologised. Severo Enetz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When Ramon Efraim came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Ostende fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Efraim couldn't finish the play. Matias Gamus came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Ostende's Ramon Efraim. But to his dismay, Ramon Efraim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Efraim in the 42nd minute of play forced Cortaderas FC's goalkeeper Matias Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cortaderas FC's Nunez Oier got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Gaspar Roderigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Eugenio Llorian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Efraim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Gamus having to interfere. Matias Gamus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Gelacio in the 58th minute. Eugenio Llorian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Oier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Llorian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nunez Oier's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Zeledon Miro hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cortaderas FC's zone, Ramon Efraim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Gamus came out of the goal and Ramon Efraim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cortaderas FC's Matias Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Efraim in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cortaderas FC's zone, Ramon Efraim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Gamus came out of the goal and Ramon Efraim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ramon Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Gelacio got free with Matias Gamus in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 93 minutes, Cornelio Malvin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cortaderas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Malvin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cortaderas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ostende had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
