Pablo Urtats kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Anselmo Berdoi came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Candido Hibai could save by the left post. In the 17th minute Alper Uğurlubay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AGUILAS DORADAS's Alvaro Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Txilar in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Anselmo Berdoi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Candido Hibai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Urtats in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of El Destello Espacial F.C. booed when AGUILAS DORADAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Urtats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Eleder hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Romeo Marincean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Eztebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Marincean in the 36th minute of play forced AGUILAS DORADAS's goalkeeper Alvaro Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, El Destello Espacial F.C.'s Teodoro Tab got a free kick in the 40th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute, Virgilio Dolfos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Eztebe. The goal made the score 1-2. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Alvaro Eztebe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ildefonso Rioja was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in AGUILAS DORADAS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! AGUILAS DORADAS:s Alvaro Eztebe showed great skill when he stopped Gregorio Rexino:s penalty. 63 minutes into the game, Gregorio Rexino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alvaro Eztebe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. El Destello Espacial F.C.'s İnanç Balcıoğlu was substituted for Romeo Marincean. If Fernando Txilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the AGUILAS DORADAS defense, Alper Uğurlubay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Eztebe. The AGUILAS DORADAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Eztebe should have stopped the shot.
