After having played for 3 minutes, Jonathan Ciceron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chivas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Ciceron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Romildo having to interfere. If Octavio Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nereo Fernanco came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Chivas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Fernanco couldn't finish the play. Nereo Fernanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Romildo having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Raimundo Formerio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Laureano Romildo to make any attempt to save it. If Jonathan Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raimundo Formerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Laureano Romildo made a huge save. After 30th play minutes Jonathan Ciceron shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Laureano Romildo and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 36th minute Jonathan Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Romildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, one of Atalaya AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 43 minutes, Chivas FC's Eliseo Onofre got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Laureano Romildo. Jonathan Ciceron struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Laureano Romildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chivas FC.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silverio Milio made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Raimundo Formerio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atalaya AFC's Laureano Romildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 52nd match minute, Atalaya AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Neron to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th minute, Melchor Gaur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Neron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 minutes of play, Chivas FC's Jonathan Ciceron made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laureano Romildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silverio Milio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Anier Urtsua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Romildo having to interfere. Laureano Romildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Fernanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Ciceron in the 89th minute of play forced Atalaya AFC's goalkeeper Laureano Romildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes Atalaya AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Onofre who took care of the corner kick. When Remigio Frichoso came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Chivas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Frichoso couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Chivas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Milio came free, but Anier Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Chivas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
