Basilio Guillem struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Emanuel Seber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malota FC. Basilio Guillem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Seber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Silverio Berto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malota FC's Cristobal Beremundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th match minute, AS Romance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Bernabel to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Basilio Guillem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Seber was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Malota FC's Aureliano Feliu got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 38 minutes, Nestor Rameriz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AS Romance and the Malota FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AS Romance getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Nestor Rameriz hit a great ball. Cristobal Beremundo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Silverio Berto sent off a good shot on target. With splendid footwork Nestor Rameriz arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-1 by the left pole in the game's 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Basilio Guillem made the kick off in the second half. If Nestor Rameriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Malota FC's Aureliano Feliu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Seber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Ovidio Rozarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Urtsua made a great header on AS Romance's corner, it was just that Malota FC's Cristobal Beremundo managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 80th minute Silverio Berto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Beremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AS Romance's Nestor Rameriz got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Aureliano Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malota FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
