Nicolas Froylan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Placido Salvator in the 14th minute. Eustacio Ermengol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolas Froylan having to make a save. Gregorio Guillelme hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Oscar Sidoro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonides Frutos's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 25th minute Eustacio Ermengol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Froylan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Viamonte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Urtzi came free, but Oscar Sidoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Leonides Frutos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Viamonte FC's Oscar Sidoro. Oscar Sidoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonel Hernando kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Nicolas Froylan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Ermengol in the 38th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Viamonte FC's Amancio Izotz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Amancio Izotz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Viamonte FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amancio Izotz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The Viamonte FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Reynosa FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonides Frutos to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Reynosa FC booed when Viamonte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Bartuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Sidoro made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Leonides Frutos sent off a good shot on target. Leonides Frutos scored 0-3 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Sidoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reynosa FC's Nicolas Froylan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Donio in the 66th minute of play. Oscar Sidoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Urtzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Reynosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Bartuelo came free, but Nicolas Froylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Viamonte FC booed when Reynosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Guillelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute of the match Honorio Porfirio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolas Froylan skillfully saved the ball. The Reynosa FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Reynosa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
