The penalty shot was made by Flavio Ferrer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Real Provincia's Leonides Iraido. 0-1. Octavio Valery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Leonides Iraido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Octavio Valery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Luciano Qwinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Iraido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pearson's Octavio Valery got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Octavio Valery ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonides Iraido was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Aldo Confesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ildefonso Dominguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Provincia's Angelo Frechoso was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ildefonso Dominguez made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Rodrigo Iztal sent off a good shot on target. Victorino Cerilo took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ildefonso Dominguez. Ildefonso Dominguez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Angelo Frechoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ildefonso Dominguez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aldo Confesor made a kick off. Domingo Osorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Leonides Iraido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Frechoso in the 60th minute of play forced Pearson's goalkeeper Ildefonso Dominguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Dominguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Frechoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ildefonso Dominguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Frechoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavio Valery struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Leonides Iraido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pearson. Leonides Iraido came out of the goal and Luciano Qwinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavio Valery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Leonides Iraido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Qwinton got free with Leonides Iraido in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
