Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) Fidel Matai made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Tiburones Rojos Veracruz's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Matai came free, but Girkantas Sirvydis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 played minutes Tiburones Rojos Veracruz got a freekick which was hit by Damian Quilo. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Presebal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Rioja was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Girkantas Sirvydis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Tiburones Rojos Veracruz's Cirilo Presebal in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zorros FCAV's goalie prevented a goal. Flavio Rioja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Senen in the 23rd minute of play. Ruben Senen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Rioja having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Tiburones Rojos Veracruz's Haroldo Alonso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Haroldo Alonso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tiburones Rojos Veracruz protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Haroldo Alonso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tiburones Rojos Veracruz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! After 29 minutes Tiburones Rojos Veracruz's goalkeeper Girkantas Sirvydis managed, with a little bit of luck, save Eloy Lalla's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Girkantas Sirvydis was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Eloy Lalla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eloy Lalla really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cirilo Presebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prudencio Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 minutes, Cirilo Presebal made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Zorros FCAV's Flavio Rioja tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cirilo Presebal might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Rioja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Presebal ran back to his position shaking his head. If Damian Quilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Bizen Amezaga came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Tiburones Rojos Veracruz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bizen Amezaga couldn't finish the play. Flavio Rioja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Presebal in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Rios in the 51st minute of play forced Tiburones Rojos Veracruz's goalkeeper Girkantas Sirvydis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Presebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Damian Quilo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavio Rioja came out and tried to block the shot, but Damian Quilo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 57th minute. Girkantas Sirvydis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Matai in the 62nd minute of the match. Cirilo Presebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Flavio Rioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tiburones Rojos Veracruz booed when Zorros FCAV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayetano Orlondon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Zorros FCAV got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Ekhi. Filiberto Claude, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Damian Quilo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Rioja having to make a save. Damian Quilo took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Rioja. Flavio Rioja dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Flavio Rioja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Presebal in the 78th minute of play. Flavio Rioja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Presebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Damian Quilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayetano Orlondon during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tiburones Rojos Veracruz getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Cayetano Orlondon hit a great ball. If Cayetano Orlondon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Zorros FCAV's goalkeeper Flavio Rioja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cirilo Presebal. Prudencio Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Girkantas Sirvydis came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Zorros FCAV's Prudencio Rios. But to his dismay, Prudencio Rios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Tiburones Rojos Veracruz played a much better game than Zorros FCAV and deserved their victory. The Zorros FCAV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
