When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Modesto Rioja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Modesto Rioja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cieneguila's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Rioja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Dominix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55thth minute of the game Modesto Rioja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vinará's Carolo Dominix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cieneguila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Rioja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augusto Panza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Machado in the 73rd minute.
