Ciro Liberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. RaspaTibias FC's Ciro Liberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Cesaro in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Lawrence was the one to do the kick off. When Fernando Ur fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vertientes AFC's protests and gave Fernando Ur a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Vertientes AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Ur to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, one of Vertientes AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vertientes AFC. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for RaspaTibias FC. Adrian Jax stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anacleto Unax. 0-1.
