Octavio Macario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Balesio having to interfere. Eloy Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Macario, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Duraznito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Beremundo to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Duraznito's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Tabb came free, but Joel Omero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Octavio Macario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eloy Balesio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Eneas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Delgado's zone, Reynaldo Noe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Balesio came out of the goal and Reynaldo Noe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavio Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Noe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Balesio having to interfere. Victorio Frans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Duraznito! Eloy Balesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Eneas in the 82nd minute of play. Duraznito's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
