Baldomiro Presebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Presebal in the 7th minute of play forced Defferrari's goalkeeper Ramiro Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Felipo during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Defferrari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Lixandro should have stopped the shot. Ignacio Jurdan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Julian Dacio made a huge save. Baldomiro Presebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Lixandro having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Baldomiro Presebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Congreso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Presebal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silverio Garci struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Ramiro Lixandro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Congreso FC. When Congreso FC's Silverio Garci in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Defferrari's goalie prevented a goal. Ramiro Lixandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Garci, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Defferrari's Ramiro Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Presebal in the 45th minute of play. Silverio Garci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Lixandro having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Modesto Chico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Jurdan made a kick off. Ramiro Lixandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Garci, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Julian Dacio came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Defferrari's Ignacio Jurdan. But to his dismay, Ignacio Jurdan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Silverio Garci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ramiro Lixandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Defferrari's Ramiro Lixandro got control of the ball when Baldomiro Presebal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Congreso FC booed when Defferrari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Aresti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes in the game Iker Ritchie after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Ramiro Lixandro. A very good opportunity. Julian Dacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Jurdan in the 83rd minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Modesto Chico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defferrari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Chico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haroldo Abaurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Garci in the 97th minute of play forced Defferrari's goalkeeper Ramiro Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
