Melquiades Larpe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norberto Garaile read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Alberto Savion hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Isidro Irrintzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Artemio Oriche made a huge save. Isidro Irrintzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Larpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Norberto Garaile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Garaile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atilano Iraitz went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute of the match Gaudencio Hermon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norberto Garaile showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 29 played minutes Cuchupetos got a freekick which was hit by Astor Cordara. Epifanio Larpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Cuchupetos's Artemio Oriche got control of the ball when Alberto Savion tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 42 minutes on the clock, Fernando Raymundo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 41 minutes into the game, one of Ischilín FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Atilano Iraitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Garaile. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atilano Iraitz ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Epifanio Larpe made the kick off in the second half. When Gaudencio Hermon came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Cuchupetos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Hermon couldn't finish the play. Atilano Iraitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norberto Garaile having to make a save. After 63 played minutes, Ischilín FC's Benigno Ibon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Artemio Oriche came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ischilín FC reached it. If Alberto Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Ischilín FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Larpe came free, but Norberto Garaile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artemio Oriche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Larpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Matias Dalmai's late challenge caught a Ischilín FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matias Dalmai helped the player get up and apologised. Gaudencio Hermon was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 83rd match minute, Cuchupetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Hermon to maneuver through the defense. If Alberto Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilano Iraitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Garaile made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Atilano Iraitz sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cuchupetos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
