Spectators: 6682 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) Yuchán FC's Leo Gabino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabricio Criston kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FCBarcelona's zone, Domingos Gregory stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Min came out of the goal and Domingos Gregory tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Leo Gabino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yuchán FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Gabino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Gabino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Paz in the 12th minute of play forced Yuchán FC's goalkeeper Alberto Sal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FCBarcelona booed when Yuchán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Belarmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yuchán FC's Alberto Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Paz in the 14th minute of play. Alberto Sal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Atarrabi in the 23rd minute of play. Leo Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes FCBarcelona got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Rico. 36 minutes into the game, Fabricio Criston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FCBarcelona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yuchán FC the free kick. In the 37th minute, Domingos Gregory reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabio Min. The goal made the score 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Atarrabi made a kick off. Alberto Sal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Amancio Milian. Melquiades Paz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Chale took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Min. FCBarcelona's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fabio Min showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Gabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Alberto Sal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Venancio Rico in the 66th minute. Fabio Min showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Gabino in the 68th minute of the match. Leo Gabino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Fabio Min tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Leo Gabino came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Yuchán FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Gabino couldn't finish the play. Fabio Min showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Gabino in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Domingos Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Min saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melquiades Paz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Sal having to interfere. In the 89th minute Leo Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Min saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Gabino in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Min prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
