He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Miguel Quin. After 22 played minutes, Mazatlan FC's Enrique Quintan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amadeo Aureo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mazatlan FC reached it. 24 minutes into the match, Gustavo Grabiel notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pierini FC's Amadeo Aureo. After a rather tough play, Mazatlan FC's Froilan Hermon got a free kick in the 40th minute. The long shot by Cecilio Ralondo in the 43rd minute really tested Miguel Quin's skills. The wind increased when Ivan Garaile made the kick off in the second half. When the match was over Mazatlan FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pierini FC throughout the match.
