Spectators: 7355 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 100) Monster's Mario Cidro got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 5 played minutes Monster got a freekick which was hit by Mario Cidro. Blas Silvanito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Lorencio having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Alvaro Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Lorencio came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Barreal's Blas Silvanito. But to his dismay, Blas Silvanito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Barreal's Teofilo Argenis got a free kick in the 20th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Monster's Fernan Santxol tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Humberto Behe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Inocencio Ruy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Lorencio having to interfere. Monster's Eriberto Lorencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Silvanito in the 34th minute of play. Inocencio Ruy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eriberto Lorencio having to make a save. Jeronimo Rafe hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Barreal's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Cidro came free, but Humberto Behe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gustavo Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47th minute, Flavio Checa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Barreal were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mario Cidro made the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Benet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 58 played minutes Monster got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Truylos. Eriberto Lorencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Ruy, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Monster's zone, Blas Silvanito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Lorencio came out of the goal and Blas Silvanito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Blas Silvanito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blas Silvanitos short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Eriberto Lorencio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eriberto Lorencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Blas Silvanito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barreal's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Silvanito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Lorencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Osasun got free with Eriberto Lorencio in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th match minute, Monster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Benet to maneuver through the defense. Julian Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Lorencio having to interfere. When Timoteo Richie fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monster's protests and gave Timoteo Richie a yellow card for diving instead. Barreal's Inocencio Ruy got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 minutes of play, Barreal's Blas Silvanito made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Lorencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barreal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
