The referee ignored ATOMICOS FC's protests and gave Diego Hustaz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, ATOMICOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Hustaz to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Odol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Bernal having to interfere. In the 10thth minute of the game Victorio Lauren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hermosillo Fc's Augusto Bernal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the game, ATOMICOS FC's Ciro Odol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Bernal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Diego Hustaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Victorio Lauren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Augusto Bernal. The goal made the score 2-0. Augusto Bernal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when ATOMICOS FC's Victorio Lauren shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Hermosillo Fc's Augusto Bernal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Hermosillo Fc from getting a goal against them. Hermosillo Fc's Augusto Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Lauren in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Hermosillo Fc getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Francisco Juvenal hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Arnaldo Iraunkor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Umea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Unai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Rogelio Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorio Lauren was the one to do the kick off. Augusto Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Lauren, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 56th play minutes Victorio Lauren shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Augusto Bernal and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorio Lauren in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Bernal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victorio Lauren struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Augusto Bernal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATOMICOS FC. Ciro Odol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Hermosillo Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Lauren came free, but Augusto Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ciro Odol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Izotz during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 78 minutes into the game, one of Hermosillo Fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Ciro Odol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the game, ATOMICOS FC's Victorio Lauren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Bernal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Ovidio Unai charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidio Unai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ATOMICOS FC booed when Hermosillo Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Unai didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Elias Geleberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hermosillo Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATOMICOS FC the free kick. 96 minutes into the match, ATOMICOS FC's Igor Petri broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ciro Odol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Augusto Bernal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ATOMICOS FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
