The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th minute, Vladimiro Hernando made a precise shot to the right of Gaspar Castulo. Vilo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Gualterio Jurgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Jurgi in the 21st minute of play forced Guardaparque AFC's goalkeeper Romeo Erramun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualterio Jurgi in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Erramun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaspar Castulo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimiro Hernando's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 36th minute, Jaime Hurko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vilo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Vladimiro Hernando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaspar Castulo having to make a save. Romulo Sayveon hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Silvano Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvano Bordat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeo Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Jurgi in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Gualterio Jurgi made the kick off in the second half. Bartolo Bernaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Gaspar Castulo made a huge save. After 59 minutes, Bartolo Bernaldo made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vilo's Gaspar Castulo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Vilo's Gualterio Jurgi in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Bartolo Bernaldo came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Guardaparque AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Bernaldo couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
