Spectators: 6683 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adolfo Elazar started the match with the kick off. After having played for 11 minutes, Adolfo Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rumioj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Elazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fidel Naelio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Delmar Txurio came out and tried to block the shot, but Fidel Naelio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. If Adolfo Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Severino Grabiel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 33 played minutes Fidel Naelio rounded Rumioj's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 38th minute Adolfo Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Galo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Suncho AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Aquiles Boni hit a great ball. Lino Santikurtz charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Santikurtz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 44 minutes into the game, one of Rumioj:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Suncho AFC booed when Rumioj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Aimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 played minutes, Suncho AFC's Mauro Enekoitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Delmar Txurio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Suncho AFC reached it. Bruno Galo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Grabiel in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Suncho AFC's Fidel Naelio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delmar Txurio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Fidel Naelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suncho AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Naelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Txurio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delmar Txurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Naelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Rumioj's Adolfo Elazar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Galo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodolfo Socorro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The Suncho AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
