Siro Timo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enrique Gaxan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Galo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Bernardino Ireno kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Enrique Gaxan scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Galo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26thth minute of the game Siro Timo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suncho AFC's Bruno Galo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Mario Udalaitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Galo was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. If Siro Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Venados de Yucatán's Gustavo Maiorga got a free kick in the 34th minute. Manuel Curcio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mauro Enekoitz. Bruno Galo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Udalaitz in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Mario Udalaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Galo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Suncho AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fidel Naelio hit a great ball. Siro Timo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Suncho AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venados de Yucatán were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Udalaitz made a kick off. Mario Udalaitzs short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Bruno Galo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Siro Timo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venados de Yucatán's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Timo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Galo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Siro Timo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bruno Galo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Udalaitz didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-3 via right post in the game's 64th minute. Venados de Yucatán's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Rodolfo Socorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Curcio having to interfere. Bernardino Frichoso kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Aquiles Boni fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suncho AFC's protests and gave Aquiles Boni a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Venados de Yucatán booed when Suncho AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Boni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siro Timo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Bruno Galo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venados de Yucatán. Siro Timo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Galo having to interfere. When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Venados de Yucatán's Siro Timo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bruno Galo. Suncho AFC's Aquiles Boni suffered a sore thigh after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Dalmacio Cordeara charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Cordeara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
