With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Sendoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, Pachimoco's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Ospin came free, but Gustavo Sendoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Ospin struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gustavo Sendoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuesta AFC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Ospin in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Sendoa saved Pachimoco from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Ospin to strike the kick off in the second half. The Cuesta AFC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Cuesta AFC's Omar Ospin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. If Omar Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Mendebal in the 82nd minute of the match. Gustavo Sendoa was a little too slow when Silvestre Firmin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Cuesta AFC's zone, Hector Mendebal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Selatse came out of the goal and Hector Mendebal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Omar Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Cuesta AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pachimoco.
