The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Urtsua to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Nicanor Araoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Amancio Ricart took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ramiro Manny to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicanor Araoz in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saturnino Montrelle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Centeno's Ramiro Manny got control of the ball when Amancio Ricart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amancio Ricart came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ramiro Manny could save by the left post. Amancio Ricart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ramiro Manny made a huge save. A collision led to Centeno getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alonzo Pedroso hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Ordono in the 39th minute of play forced Centeno's goalkeeper Ramiro Manny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeo Kepa during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Amadeo Kepa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Talleres's Amancio Ricart got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aristides Dominic to strike the kick off in the second half. Gogo Orti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiro Manny read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Nicanor Araoz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Saturnino Montrelle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ramiro Manny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Ordono in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Amancio Ricart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Manny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Amancio Ricart sped through Centeno's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramiro Manny. Aristides Dominic struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Saturnino Montrelle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Centeno. Saturnino Montrelle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Araoz went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Talleres's Saturnino Montrelle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Dominic in the 74th minute of play. Nicanor Araoz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Saturnino Montrelle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. During the 78th minute of the match Amadeo Kepa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Amadeo Kepa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 79th match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Kepa to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Talleres's Gogo Orti got a free kick in the 85th minute. Hilario Quinten kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Amancio Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Ricart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amancio Ricart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Ricart struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ramiro Manny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talleres. Gogo Orti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Manny having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Centeno players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Talleres.
