Bruno Jon kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Albino Salomone fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fabian Kauldi, passed just outside the right post. In the 17th minute, Arnoldo Bartoleme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mauricio Jerrold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Santamarina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Artizar. A well placed Alejandro Jatsu short distance shot in the 24th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 30th minute, Orlando Gagriel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santamarina AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 34th minute, Santamarina AFC's Domingos Emeterio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Domingos Emeterio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Santamarina AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Domingos Emeterio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Santamarina AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Fabian Kauldi went to the wrong direction when Alejandro Jatsu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 40th minute Alejandro Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Kauldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santamarina AFC's Orlando Gagriel suffered a concussion in the 41st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 41 minutes, Teobaldo Theodore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fanegas FC and the Santamarina AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Teobaldo Theodore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th match minute, Fanegas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Theodore to maneuver through the defense. After 49 played minutes Santamarina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Artizar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A murmur of surprise went through the audience when Fanegas FC's Erasmo Cordera after having done a couple of nice dribblings in the 50th minute of the game fired away a shot to his disappointment passed just outside the right post. If Alejandro Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Jatsu in the 57th minute of play forced Santamarina AFC's goalkeeper Fabian Kauldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fanegas FC's Melquiades Iratzeder was substituted for Eloy Caton. After 63 played minutes Santamarina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Placido Evarado. Erich Gronow blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Kauldi having to make a save. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Melquiades Iratzeder sped through Santamarina AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabian Kauldi. Carmelo Bertin's late challenge caught a Santamarina AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Bertin helped the player get up and apologised. Carmelo Bertin hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Fanegas FC's Alejandro Jatsu in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santamarina AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Fabian Kauldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Jatsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Jatsu in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Kauldi saved Santamarina AFC from getting behind. In the 81stth minute of the game Alejandro Jatsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santamarina AFC's Fabian Kauldi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santamarina AFC's Fabian Kauldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Jatsu in the 83rd minute of play. Erich Gronow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Kauldi having to interfere. Emiliano Artizar kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fanegas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Santamarina AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
