Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rogelio Markel got the match started through his kick off. Candido Umbruso kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Epifanio Garikoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Damario made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Epifanio Garikoitz sent off a good shot on target. Chilibroste's Tomas Damario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Markel in the 18th minute of play. Tomas Damario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Markel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomero Reynardo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Conrado Hotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Veto having to interfere. Tomas Damario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Epifanio Garikoitz in the 27th minute. Enrique Christobal kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. With his leg Tomas Damario managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Norumbega's Epifanio Garikoitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chilibroste's Tomas Damario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Chilibroste from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Chilibroste's Tomas Damario got control of the ball when Epifanio Garikoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogelio Markel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Damario having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Hotz was the one to do the kick off. Fernan Veto made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Enrique Christobal sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Epifanio Garikoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norumbega's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Garikoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Damario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Conrado Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Conrado Hotz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fernan Veto, 1-1. Epifanio Garikoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tomas Damario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eulalio Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Damario having to interfere. Epifanio Garikoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Norumbega's Rogelio Markel in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chilibroste's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanio Garikoitz in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Damario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rogelio Markel came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Norumbega fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Markel couldn't finish the play. Epifanio Garikoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tomas Damario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogelio Markel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Damario having to interfere.
