Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Conrado Hotz started the match with the kick off. Hakkı Demircan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Hotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Dragones Tampico's zone, Enrique Christobal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hakkı Demircan came out of the goal and Enrique Christobal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justino Blasco hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Aquilino Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Santo Mino came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Dragones Tampico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Mino couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Mino in the 16th minute of play forced Chilibroste's goalkeeper Tomas Damario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Blasco hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Dragones Tampico's Hakkı Demircan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Hotz in the 23rd minute of play. Santo Mino shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 30th minute Conrado Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakkı Demircan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Edur charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anastasio Edur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, one of Chilibroste:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chilibroste. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Dragones Tampico. Santo Mino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tomas Damario. 0-1. Gaspar Txilar took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Damario. Tomas Damario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Edgardo Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tomas Damario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes, Dragones Tampico's Igor Sazon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomas Damario came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dragones Tampico reached it. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Conrado Hotz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santo Mino to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Isidoro Efraim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dragones Tampico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chilibroste the free kick. Isidoro Efraim kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Edgardo Turi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dragones Tampico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Turi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute of the match Igor Sazon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Damario showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tomas Damario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Hakkı Demircan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Christobal in the 70th minute of the match. If Enrique Christobal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes of play, Chilibroste's Enrique Christobal made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hakkı Demircan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th match minute, Dragones Tampico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Beltran to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute of the match Aquilino Marques sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hakkı Demircan skillfully saved the ball. The Dragones Tampico fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Dragones Tampico's Santo Mino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Santo Mino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Damario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute of the match Edelmiro Kusko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hakkı Demircan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dragones Tampico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
