Emiliano Bitxintxo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Chapulines CF's Godfredo Luzaide. But to his dismay, Godfredo Luzaide quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Chapulines CF getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Lucas Guifre hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Bruno Vela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Bitxintxo was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, Florentino Peyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florentino Peyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 90 played minutes Canallas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Paz. If Bruno Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Osorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Peyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Chapulines CF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Canallas F.C throughout the match.
