In the 7th minute Mohamed Bale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Osorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Korneliusz Barna could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Cayetano Osorio however easily saved by the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Chapulines CF's Godfredo Luzaide sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brian Johnson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Chapulines CF getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Rodolfo Belmiro hit a great ball. Chapulines CF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodolfo Belmiro in the 24th minute. In the 31st match minute, Soli Deo Gloria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 贺文斌 to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Chapulines CF's zone, Mohamed Bale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Osorio came out of the goal and Mohamed Bale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Soli Deo Gloria fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Soli Deo Gloria's Korneliusz Barna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 38 minutes into the match, Chapulines CF's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Bale came free, but Cayetano Osorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Korneliusz Barna made a precise shot to the right of Cayetano Osorio. Chapulines CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Cayetano Osorio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 贺文斌's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Soli Deo Gloria's Brian Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Luzaide in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Korneliusz Barna made a kick off. In the 57th minute of the match Soli Deo Gloria got a corner. Chapulines CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mohamed Bale ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Soli Deo Gloria's Korneliusz Barna getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Mohamed Bale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soli Deo Gloria's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Bale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Osorio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Chapulines CF booed when Soli Deo Gloria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. 贺文斌 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayetano Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korneliusz Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Soli Deo Gloria's Michal Kempka got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Paulino Maju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
