After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ruben Pirro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salto AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Pirro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Bitxintxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Salto AFC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Salto AFC's Amancio Cambranes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 22ndth minute of the game Amancio Cambranes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canallas F.C's Emiliano Bitxintxo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anibal Fix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Guillelmus in the 25th minute of play. When Salto AFC's Amancio Cambranes in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 33rd minute Amancio Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Bitxintxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Salto AFC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Salto AFC's Amancio Cambranes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ruben Pirro might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Bitxintxo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruben Pirro ran back to his position shaking his head. Emiliano Bitxintxo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amancio Cambranes's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Ruben Pirro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salto AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Pirro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amancio Cambranes to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Salto AFC booed when Canallas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Rolado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amancio Cambranes in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Bitxintxo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emiliano Bitxintxo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Salto AFC's Amancio Cambranes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. After 56 minutes of play, Salto AFC's Ruben Pirro made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Amancio Cambranes sped through Canallas F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emiliano Bitxintxo. Emiliano Bitxintxo stood somewhat misplaced when Amancio Cambranes came free in front of goal and shot 0-11 to the left of him in the 76 minute. Amancio Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Bitxintxo having to interfere. Emiliano Bitxintxo made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Ruben Pirro sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Amancio Cambranes put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Emiliano Bitxintxo. If Ruben Pirro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Pirro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Bitxintxo having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Amancio Cambranes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emiliano Bitxintxo. Amancio Cambranes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. The audience was convinced that Amancio Cambranes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Bitxintxo was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 94th match minute, Canallas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Paz to maneuver through the defense. Amancio Cambranes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-14 to the left of a surprised Emiliano Bitxintxo 96 minutes into the match. Salto AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
