In the 19th minute, Cornelio Viator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute of the match, Cesar Ermengol got a very nice opportunity to score, but Manuel Ibon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gaspar Sarracino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Virgilio Beltza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesar Ermengol took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Ibon. Manuel Ibon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Arndt von Buol-Schaudenstein spun around in front of the goal 29 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Caldao's goal. With a little luck, TORRES FC's Manuel Ibon got control of the ball when Cesar Ermengol tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Isidro Frances fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caldao's protests and gave Isidro Frances a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, one of Caldao:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caldao. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for TORRES FC. Gaspar Sarracino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Virgilio Beltza. 1-2. The audience was convinced that Gaspar Sarracino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Beltza was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After 56 played minutes TORRES FC got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Viator. In the 59th minute, Agustin Sazon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TORRES FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The TORRES FC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when TORRES FC's Gaspar Sarracino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Caldao's Isidro Frances got a free kick in the 67th minute. With his leg Virgilio Beltza managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when TORRES FC's Gaspar Sarracino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Virgilio Beltza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arndt von Buol-Schaudenstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Edgard James fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TORRES FC's protests and gave Edgard James a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to TORRES FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Edgard James hit a great ball. Agustin Sazon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Virgilio Beltza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Agustin Sazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 86th minute of the match Edgard James completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edgard James a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Edgard James hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Gaspar Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. TORRES FC played a much better game than Caldao and deserved their victory. The Caldao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
