Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anier Efraim started the match with the kick off. Anastasio Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Tender having to interfere. Anastasio Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Hever didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anier Efraim went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Anier Efraim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Eriberto Hever tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Bastian during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Soto FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Bastian. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Serafin Raebert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigres UANL's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Raebert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Hever breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Tigres UANL were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anastasio Teodor made a kick off. Anier Efraim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Soto FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Anastasio Teodor hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Raebert in the 63rd minute of play forced Soto FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Hever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anastasio Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Ermegildo Abaunza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tigres UANL's Samuel Etxahun was substituted for Anier Efraim. After 67 played minutes Soto FC got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Abaunza. Serafin Raebert hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Angel Bastian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Samuel Etxahun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tigres UANL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Soto FC's Angel Bastian got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eriberto Hever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Etxahun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Soto FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tigres UANL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
