Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Ruben Pirro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Virgilio Beltza made a huge save. Eulalio Panpili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Cesar Ermengol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caldao's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Ermengol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Tonete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute of the match, Amancio Cambranes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Virgilio Beltza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Salto AFC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Caldao's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernabe Garaona took the corner. Eulalio Panpili charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eulalio Panpili the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Eulalio Panpili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amancio Cambranes in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Beltza saved Caldao from getting behind. Virgilio Beltza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Cambranes in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Amancio Cambranes made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Beltza. Caldao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 35 minutes of play, Salto AFC's Ruben Pirro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregorio Tonete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Panpili, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eulalio Panpili was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesar Ermengol got free with Gregorio Tonete in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Salto AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Bernabe Garaona hit a great ball. Angel Isadore hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Amancio Cambranes might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Beltza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amancio Cambranes ran back to his position shaking his head. Amancio Cambranes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 minutes of play, Salto AFC's Amancio Cambranes made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregorio Tonete acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Placido Micael. After a rather tough play, Salto AFC's Anacleto Duardo got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
