The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Chedraui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Gervaso to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the match, Korneliusz Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Constancio. Chedraui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Korneliusz Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Cornelio Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Bale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Korneliusz Barna notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chedraui's Gilberto Constancio. Gilberto Constancio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Soli Deo Gloria fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Soli Deo Gloria's Korneliusz Barna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gilberto Constancio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Korneliusz Barna struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Gilberto Constancio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soli Deo Gloria. After some careless play in the Chedraui defense, Mohamed Bale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Constancio. The Chedraui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Constancio should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Cornelio Cordaro made the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Constancio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mohamed Bale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 51 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Korneliusz Barna put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Gilberto Constancio. 59 minutes into the match, Chedraui's goalkeeper Gilberto Constancio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Korneliusz Barna. Mohamed Bale did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-10 to the left of a surprised Gilberto Constancio 60 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Mohamed Bale lined in a short shot 0-12 behind a frustrated Gilberto Constancio. In the 79th minute, Soli Deo Gloria's Mohamed Bale dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-14. Agix Banos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Constancio having to make a save. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chedraui's goalkeeper Gilberto Constancio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Soli Deo Gloria could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chedraui throughout the match.
